Not by Bread Alone mission focuses on empowering the community through education awareness and skills building. We do this by implementing several initiatives under the abusees of the Bouldercrest Church of Christ through its empowerment council, focused ministries, and other activities such as toastmaster.

Not by Bread Alone supports civic engagement which helps in the development of local residents/ leaders in a holistic, nurturing way. We work to strengthen their resolve as it relates to dealing with family issues, such as single parenting households, dealing with parents and children, and helping them seek counseling.​​
