MARRIAGE MINISTRY

The Bouldercrest Marriage Ministry (BCMM) was created to provide a holistic approach to supply the needs and the development of marriages. Marriage is a sacred covenant between each couple and God, and it requires love, commitment, and unity. A happy marriage is one of the greatest blessings that a couple can experience, and it is achieved when the husband and wife love God more than themselves and they work together with the word of God serving as the foundation of their marriage.

The ministry is committed to educating, enhancing, uniting and sustaining marriages and families through the utilization of biblical principles designed specifically for Bouldercrest couples. The framework and overarching goals are as follows:

1. Provide encouragement and fellowship to strengthen and renew marriages and families.
2. Promote biblical instruction and learning in an effort to enhance the practical application of spiritual
concepts within the context of marriage.

The purpose of the Encouragement and Fellowship framework is to help couples understand the importance of
encouragement within a marriage and also to create fellowship opportunities. “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” (I Thessalonians 5:11)

​

Oftentimes, Christians struggle within their marriages because they are not grounded in the word of God, not aware of the spiritual roles and responsibilities God has defined in his successful plan for marriage, nor are they able to apply the scriptural application and healing to their situation.

The purpose of the Biblical Instruction and Learning framework is to equip couples with skills and provide opportunities for the practical application of techniques to use when dealing with marital issues. “Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance.” (Proverbs 1:5)

Core Team and Extended Team of the BCMM
The core team of the BCMM currently consists of couples who are dedicated to the mission and vision of the ministry and who have also expressed a strong desire to serve in the kingdom through this ministry

​

The extended team of the BCMM includes other Bouldercrest couples who have a passion and desire to assist with the ministry and to develop a close knit community of couples at Bouldercrest who are strongly rooted in the word and actively growing together in Christ.
