I recently celebrated a birthday. I don't know about you, but I really like birthdays and all that typically come with them. But with this last one, I found myself becoming a little introspective. I'm sure that's natural, considering I am a few years into my forties, but I have started asking myself a question that I think is pretty important.
Now that God has gifted me with another year upon this earth, I am asking myself, "What am I going to do with it?" This is really a question that can be asked by all of us, not just on birthdays, but everyday. As a disciple of Christ who has been given another opportunity to live, breathe, and perhaps move --what are you going to do with the opportunity?
How will this day be different than the previous days? How will you allow the Lord to use you today? What shall you surrender and sacrifice today for the cause of Christ? Who will you share the good news of Jesus with today?
If you are reading this, I will assume that God has given you another day. So, let me ask you ,"What are you going to do with it? "
