At Bouldercrest there are a several committees that are geared towards providing full support for the women in the Churches of Christ. We strive to build a sisterhood based on love through prayer, encouragement and knowledge. These benefits may be tapped into via the Ladies’ Empowerment Committee, the Ladies’ Inspiration Day Committee and the Ladies’ Retreat Committee. Each committee has been designed with women in mind. The Ladies’ Empowerment Committee provides a monthly forum to discuss topics that are important to women in many areas. The Ladies’ Inspiration Day is a biennial program that Inspires women to strive to be the best woman they can be, in the site of God. Finally at the Ladies’ Retreat we bring the year to a close through reflection, meditation, prayer and love. Come be apart of either committee or all and find some additional love and support to help you become the woman God will have you to be. We look forward to seeing you there!
The purpose of the Ladies’ Empowerment Committee is to facilitate a forum for sisters to come together on a monthly basis, for spiritual fellowship, by creating an environment which fosters harmony and embraces diversity among the sisters. All programs include prayers for emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental health. This short program is centered on the whole welfare of the sisters in the Church, as well as others, to include:
· Focus on the spiritual, mental, and emotional growth of Christian women.
· Create a harmonious environment through fellowship, study and activities.
· Provide and opportunity for personal reflections with the bible as the guide.
· Encourage the ladies to do greater works to Christ.
· Involve all committee members in contributing, planning, and implementing classes.
· Schedule speakers/presenters for the occasion.
· Coordinate menu (pot-luck) by asking all attendees to bring covered dishes.
The Ladies’ Inspiration Day is a biennial program that inspires women to develop spiritually in their daily walk with God through inspirational Bible-based messages, encouraging the fellowship of the saints and evangelizing those who are lost.
The Ladies' Retreat is a biennial event designed to enhance the spirituality of the women of the Churches of Christ, as well as others and to provide a meaningful way of fellowshipping amongst the sisters in the congregation.
